Juice a Review

 

Stop it, I know what you’re thinking, and I was thinking the same when I first saw it at a grocery store. But, unfortunately, no,  it is not the infamous mangosteen peels, it is a mangosteen juice.  Without further thinking, I asked my wife to buy it for the sake of trying the taste of mangosteen juice. Never in my wildest imagination that somebody would put mangosteen in a blender and squeeze the juice out of it.

But then, it let me down. It tasted nowhere near how a mangosteen tastes. It was more like lychee but with a bit of bitter flavor. Actually, mangosteen does taste a bit bitter, but this just somehow failed to bring out that mangosteen-esque flavor. Is it juice me or that this really is a mangosteen peels juice? But the bottle says it is a mangosteen juice! Ah it is not always "what juicy is what you got," is it?
